The UCSF Dental Public Health Residency Program is Accepting Applications (AY 2023-2024)

The UCSF Dental Public Health Residency Program is Accepting Applications (AY 2023-2024)

The UCSF School of Dentistry Dental Public Health (DPH) Residency Program is accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic session. The program prepares residents to become board certified by the American Board of Dental Public Health (ABDPH) and for careers in public health. Dentists with a Master of Public Health (MPH) or equivalent degree can enroll in a 12-month full-time, supervised program of field experiences, academic courses, and opportunities for practical experience.

Recently awarded an HRSA postdoctoral training grant (OpenSmiles, 2020-2025), the UCSF DPH Program will provide opportunities for interdisciplinary learning in pediatric dentistry. The program will also expand opportunities for residents to work with rural and underserved populations, leading quality improvement, medical-dental integration, and school-based telehealth projects.

Eligible candidates will be offered tuition assistance and a stipend ($35,000) to offset the cost of attendance.
