What are Paczki?

Paczki (poonch-key) are a Polish tradition to use up ingredients on Fat Tuesday prior to Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday. Paczki, a special kind of doughnut usually filled with jelly, have spread through the Midwest from Polish neighborhoods.
