The ADA Foundation Dental Student Scholarship Program is designed to recognize dental students who are strong academically and who demonstrate outstanding promise in leadership, public service/volunteerism, and/or research. The scholarships are available to all eligible dental students (must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) enrolled in accredited U.S. dental schools.
The application period opens March 1, 2020. The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central Time on April 3, 2020.
In order to be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, an applicant must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident;
- At the time of application, be enrolled full time in the second or third year of study in a U.S. CODA-accredited dental school;
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4 based on a 4.0 scale (Pass (P) or Satisfactory (S) academics are equivalent); and
- Demonstrate financial need.
The ADA Foundation will award scholarships of at least $11,000.
