ADA Foundation Dental Student Scholarship

The ADA Foundation Dental Student Scholarship Program is designed to recognize dental students who are strong academically and who demonstrate outstanding promise in leadership, public service/volunteerism, and/or research. The scholarships are available to all eligible dental students (must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) enrolled in accredited U.S. dental schools.

The application period opens March 1, 2020. The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central Time on April 3, 2020.      

In order to be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, an applicant must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident;
  • At the time of application, be enrolled full time in the second or third year of study in a U.S. CODA-accredited dental school;
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4 based on a 4.0 scale (Pass (P) or Satisfactory (S) academics are equivalent); and
  • Demonstrate financial need.

The ADA Foundation will award scholarships of at least $11,000.
