This year, the Detroit Mercy Dental Student Government Association is excited to bring you Dental Friendsgiving! The Holiday party seems to always fall at less than ideal timing because of finals, so this year we want to start a new holiday tradition. Save the date Wednesday November 20th at 5:45pm in Special Functions for Thanksgiving dinner and festivities. A few details:
- The Student Government Association will provide dinner for all faculty, staff, and students. We ask that faculty and staff bring beverages to share.
- All are welcome to bring a dessert to enter our dessert contest. Winner will receive $100 Amazon gift card. - We are also welcoming donations for our Detroit Mercy Dental Family Pantry. Any non-perishable items are welcome and will give you a vote towards who will win the dessert contest. Items like granola bars, peanut butter, and pasta are usually popular as well as any single-serve item. We also accept feminine products. 1 non perishable item = 1 vote. 3 non perishable items = 5 votes.
