Our names are Rachel Rhoney, Leah Eby-May, Jessica Collett and Nicholas LaPere. We are actively completing our Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at University of Detroit Mercy. We are asking for your participation in this survey that is being conducted as a part of our senior research project for the University of Detroit Mercy. Our faculty advisor is Sally Ammar, RDH, BSDH, Clinical Lecturer.
The purpose of this survey is to assess the knowledge of different dental healthcare professionals on effectiveness of probiotics. Research on effectiveness of oral probiotics in dentistry is not well studied. This study is useful to explore the knowledge or lack thereof in dentistry regarding probiotics and their recommendations to patients.
Participation in this survey is voluntary and all responses will be confidential and anonymous. This survey consists of eight questions and will take approximately five minutes of your time. Completion of this survey acts as your consent to participate. If you would like to discontinue your participation in this study, you may exit the survey any time before submitting.
