Prayer Works:Saturday, January 30 9-10AMPrayer Works: Exploring Techniques of Prayer. Session Title: “Praying with the Holy Spirit”Are you interested in exploring and enriching your prayer life? In one hour, learn and experience a new prayer technique and be in conversation with others. This is a collaboration with University Ministry and Gesu Catholic Church. Service in the City
La Casa Guadalupanais looking for volunteers to tutor young kids virtually. This is a weekly commitment. You can choose any of the following times to tutor:Tue, Wed, or Thur from 3:30-4:30pm OR 4:30-5:30.We will have a formation discussion/check-in once monthly.
Loyola High Schoolis looking for volunteers to virtually tutor students in grades 9-12. Possible subject areas include math, science, history, and english. This is a weekly commitment. You can choose any of the following times to tutor:Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thur from 2-3pm.We will have a formation discussion/check-in once monthly.
This is a great way to stay involved in the community and learn about educational equity and racial disparities in schools. You may receive service hours if needed.Tutoring begins January 25, tutors accepted on a rolling basis at the beginning of the semester.
