About Us
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Detroit Mercy Dental is dedicated to embracing, respecting, and honoring all forms of diversity. Our family of students, faculty, staff, and patients have a wide array of racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, geographic, religious, gender, sexual orientation, (dis)ability, and other backgrounds which reflect a global society.
We engage students in numerous training opportunities in order to develop culturally competent dental professionals able to serve the diverse needs of patients from all walks of life. Throughout the year, we coordinate a variety of events and programs to celebrate our similarities and differences
