Respondus update notice

Below is a notice from Respondus. It is alerting us to an update for the Lock-down Browser. It is not auto-updated, which means we have to push the update ourselves. Please remind your students to update or check for updates to Respondus and restart their computer at least one day before an exam. If they have any questions regarding updating the Respondus Lock Down browser, please direct them to the Educational Technology folder on the Student Resource Blackboard site:

A hotfix update to the LockDown Browser client for Windows has been released: version 2.0.8.02.  This update fixes an issue related to a recent Microsoft Windows update.

Existing installs of LockDown Browser will NOT be auto-updated at this time.  To obtain the latest version (2.0.8.02) use the “Check for Update” feature or run the full installation program.
