The McNichols Campus Planning Team for MLK & Black History Month is promoting events and activities throughout the month of January and February for your enjoyment, education, and fellowship.
The events/activities honoring Martin Luther King Jr. will feature music that celebrates African American cultural traditions reflected in Praise & Worship, Jazz, and Hip Hop genres. Black History Month will include notable authors including our own, Professor Alexander Zamalin, Ph.D. with his most recent book Black Utopia and Professor Roy Finkenbine, Ph.D. with Love Stories from the Underground Railroad.
All events are open to alumni, students, faculty, staff, and the public. Most events will have refreshments. We will also give bracelets as a gift for attending events listed below.
